Calls From Unknown Extension Numbers

If you ever receive a call from a number that seems to be from an internal extension (i.e. two, three or four digit long), but you don’t recognise it as being part of your organisation, please contact your Account Manager immediately. 

These calls are performed by robots scouting the internet for phones, and they are calling your device in an attempt to hit your voicemail box and enter a random pin in order to access it. Once they have access to your mailbox, they are able to perform calls from your extension. 

circle.cloud has developed our in-house Circle Eye solution which ensures any fraudulent activity is detected immediately, but it is best to avoid getting to this stage by reporting the nuisance calls to your Account Manager and having them blocked immediately.
